Kimberly Hocknell

Kimberly Hocknell has served as Kaleido’s Vice President, Technical Operations since November 2019, and previously served as our Senior Director of External Manufacturing. Ms. Hocknell brings to Kaleido extensive expertise in planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle and more than 25 years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Kaleido, Ms. Hocknell held roles in chemistry, manufacturing, and controls at LFB USA, Biogen, and Genzyme Corporation (now Sanofi Genzyme). Ms. Hocknell earned her M.B.A. in finance and entrepreneurship from the Simon School of Management at the University of Rochester and her B.A. in biology from Hartwick College.

Doug Ahrens

Doug Ahrens is a program manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Quick to Care™ Integrated Offering. Doug is responsible for program integration, risk mitigation, global program management, continuous improvement and commercial supply chain integration. Doug brings over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical development. During his career, he has served in a variety of roles including large molecule discovery, technology development, analytical development, large scale manufacturing, program and business management with large pharma and start-up biotech firms including DuPont Pharmaceuticals, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Trimeris Inc., b3bio, and Biogen. Doug earned a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Maryland and an M.A. Degree in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology from the University of Kansas.
