Scott Morris is the Chief Information Officer for Eskenazi Health, and Health & Hospital Corporation in Indianapolis, IN.  He has worked in healthcare and the public health sectors for nearly 20 years.  Prior to healthcare, he worked in the energy sector and in research robotics.  Through his career at Health & Hospital Corporation he has served as Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Technology Officer and now the CIO role.

During his tenure at Health & Hospital Corporation and Eskenazi Health, he led successful projects to consolidate and streamline IT/IS as a centralized shared service, build the secure datacenter infrastructure, develop a new hospital campus, implement the Epic EHR and re-implement the SAP ERP systems with S4/HANA architecture, finally connecting the EHR and ERP.  Scott’s perspectives from outside healthcare have helped to support the larger mission of Health & Hospital Corporation, which is to serve the underserved in the Indianapolis community.  He is a certified EMT-B in Indiana.
