He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a member of the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) Medicare Model Guideline Expert Panel advisory committee, serves on FDA advisory panels, and is the former ISPOR U.S. representative for the International Health Technology Assessment Council.
