Mock Clinical Trials Budget Negotiation
The negotiation of a clinical trials budget can be a laborious and difficult process, but an effective negotiation is critical to ensure the timely implementation of a trial and also minimize any financial loss for both sides. A successful negotiation based on communication and realistic expectations can lead to the establishment of a professional relationship that will benefit both parties in the long run.
In this interactive workshop, you will be presented with a hypothetical scenario with a few key points of negotiation. Your workshop leaders will then guide you through preparing for the negotiation with specific points and strategies and with their guidance you will then have the opportunity to engage in mock negotiations with your peers. Attendees will then have the opportunity to come together after the negotiation and discuss their experience and walk away with new strategies for effectively negotiating clinical trial budgets going forward.
