Recently it was recognized by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) that expanding 5G is being hampered by poor location-based data and maps, in particular in rural areas. The FCC found that carrier-submitted mobile coverage maps were “severely flawed and inaccurate.”
In this webinar, we’ll present information on how wireless telecommunication companies can leverage geospatial technology and better address data to improve verified coverage maps, identify likely subscribers for 5G service, and acquire the most accurate data to support the deployment of 5G fixed wireless or mmWave. We’ll also provide demonstration showing:
• Using geocoding technology to validate map coverage
• Identify service availability for geographic locations
• Analyze geospatial data such as building footprints, property attributes and demographics in the entire life cycle of your operations, from market research, network development planning, cell site installations, target marketing to fund compliance reports.
