Tessa leads operations for RxMx across the Americas. Since joining RxMx as the first U.S. employee, Tessa created the U.S. business by recruiting, developing and leading the U.S. team and portfolio. Before joining RxMx, Tessa worked for leading pharmaceutical firms, Sanofi and Bayer, as a health economist in France and Australia, developing market access strategies for the reimbursement of new therapies. She then pivoted her data-driven approach to developing, launching and optimizing patient support programs and patient education at Atlantis Healthcare, a behavioral-based intervention solution provider and Ogilvy CommonHealth.

Matt Smallcomb

Matt is an experienced product leader who specializes in driving vision and roadmap for products that support health care providers, patients and operational teams. He focuses on collaboration with cross-functional partners to deliver successful results. He has worked on a number of healthcare products including patient support programs, EHRs, practice management tools and a suite of patient engagement apps. Prior to entering the product and healthcare space, Matt worked as an engineer and researcher in the aerospace and experimental physics fields.

Matthew is a drug and device development professional with more than twenty years of multinational experience spanning the many facets of discovery, development and patient access. He began his career in the laboratory, moving to patient-focused clinical development, and then leadership roles in Business Development & Licensing. Matthew’s most recent venture was a game-changing digital health technology startup where he led business and corporate development, forging industry collaborations to help patients with unmet medical needs secure access to otherwise inaccessible treatment options. Matthew is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Yale University, Angel Investor and Screening Committee Member for the Angel Investor Forum of Connecticut.
