The Hawaiian Islands Virtual Education Event: Malama Hawaii

After a successful inaugural virtual event in November with more than 1,100 travel advisor attendees, we invite you to join The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB), Island Chapter representatives and a record-setting 32 wholesale, hotel, attraction and activity partners for The Hawaiian Islands Virtual Education Event: Malama Hawaii,  exclusively for travel advisors.  As travel protocols have changed and the demand for Hawaii has increased, this is the perfect opportunity to keep yourself updated.

The virtual event will take place May 12-13, 2021 during the following hours:

11am-1pm PT / 1pm-3pm CT / 2pm-4pm ET

The Hawaiian Islands are welcoming travelers with an invitation to Malama Hawaii.  Simply put, malama means to take care – of our earth, each other, and ourselves.  Visitors will have a more enriching experience and leave with a trip that truly stays with them when they travel mindfully and malama the islands through unique volunteer opportunities.

The event will include valuable destination updates, supplier presentations and a resource center to access materials.  You will be able to chat with destination and supplier representatives in real time, enjoy Hawaiian entertainment and qualify to win some amazing prizes!  New this year are additional networking opportunities through Zoom rooms at the close of each day’s presentations with destination and supplier representatives available to answer your questions.

Most importantly, you’ll learn about how you can help your clients experience a deeper connection with the people and culture of Hawaii giving back to the destination—following safe health practices—and preserving it for the future.
